What does "Open Box" mean at Canadian Outlet?
An Open Box unit is a product whose packaging has been opened - usually a customer return, display unit or overstock. We inspect and function-test every one before it is listed, and it comes with the same Canadian Outlet warranty as a brand new unit. Cosmetically it is typically indistinguishable from new.
What is Certified Pre-Owned?
Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) devices have been previously used, then fully inspected, tested and cleaned by our technicians. Every CPO listing states its cosmetic grade so you know exactly what you are buying, and it is covered by the Canadian Outlet warranty.
Are your phones unlocked?
Yes. Every phone we sell is unlocked. There is no carrier lock and no contract, so you can bring it to any Canadian network and switch whenever you like.
How and when will my order ship?
Orders ship by Canada Post by default. If you would rather use Xpress or another carrier, you will find the carrier selection at checkout. We usually get an order shipped out within 1 to 2 business days. How long delivery then takes depends on the carrier, the service you pick and where you live, so we show you an estimate on the product page and again at checkout.
Can I pick up my order in Toronto?
Yes. In-store pickup is available on eligible products at our Toronto location. Choose pickup at checkout and we will email you when your order is ready. Televisions and other large items are pickup-only.
What warranty comes with my purchase?
Every product is backed by a 90-day Canadian Outlet warranty as standard, and selected models carry a full year. The term that applies is shown on the product page. We are the seller of record, so Canadian Outlet warranty claims are handled directly by us. Manufacturer warranty is separate: some models carry one and some do not, and it depends on the product and its condition.
What if it is not right when it arrives?
You have 14 days. If the item is faulty or not as described, that is on us: we cover the return shipping and you can have the same model again or your money back. If you simply changed your mind, you can still return it within those 14 days - the item needs to come back complete and in the condition it was sent, return shipping is yours, and a restocking fee may apply once a sealed item has been opened or used.
